mumoActive was nominated for two awards at the Healthcare Startup Awards, App of the Year and the People’s Startup for 2016.

The Healthcare Startup Society held its inaugural conference on 16th December 2016, tickets were sold out and there was barely a spare seat to be found in the conference centre. The audience was a mix of entrepreneurs, clinicians, and nominated startups. Topics discussed the opportunities and challenges of bringing innovation to the healthcare space.

We were very proud to have been recognised for the work we have been doing to improve the lives of people with diabetes through our innovative platform, making the tracking of information and communications for long term conditions as easy as possible.

Our web, iOS, and Android apps are changing the way people and their healthcare professionals can tackle the challenges posed by long-term diseases, breaking down barriers and enabling the most important thing – helping people with diabetes to get on living.

For us, it’s not about the technology, but about the empowerment that can be offered to you by understanding your health, being connected to those involved in your care, and what you can do when your health is in the right place – and you’re not struggling with avoidable complications of a long-term condition.

Whilst we did not win, we were recognised alongside notable startups like Doctify, Eve, and Sense.ly.

It was a great end to the year for us, and we are looking forward to releasing even more innovation in 2017.

We are just getting started.
