Saturday night we headed out on the Night Rider London event to raise fundsĀ for JDRF and their quest to cure diabetes.
60km through the streets of London starting just before midnight. We rode from the Lee Valley Velodrome over to Regents Park, through Piccadilly and down to the Imperial War Museum. A circuitous route around South Bank took us eventually over to Canary Wharf, up through Wapping and back to the Velodrome.
Alice Smith (photo at top) from JDRF came out to support the riders.
This was a really fun event and the amazing team we road with raised half their goal so far. If you would like to support this initiative, please feel free to go to the Just Giving page here to donate.
mumoActive is building tracking and messaging to help you manage diabetes better today, but we’re holding out hope that JDRF research will come up with the cure we’re all after.
